Step 1

The first step is to make a judgement on where you want your headboard to sit on your wall. Put your pen and tape to good use here as you will want to be making notes/markings as to where the headboard will be mounted.

Step 2

Whether your headboard is for a single bed or a king size double, they are going to vary in size, shape and structure.

We advise just laying out the headboard on a flat service to understand where the wall mounts will be fitted.

Step 3

Next you want to be attaching the headboard to the desired wall of choice. We recommend using a stud finder or a magnetic object as you will be able to work out where it’s best to place the headboard.

Step 4

Now it’s time to start aligning the hangers with the back of your headboard. Ensure you are accurate with your alignments to ensure your finished product is presentable and doesn’t look “off”.

At this stage, everything should be fitted perfectly and ready to go. From here you need to lift and slide the headboard into place. Depending on the size of your board, you may need some assistance.
