When it comes to storage beds, there are two types available, divan beds and ottoman beds. Divan beds traditionally feature drawers within the bed base for you to store your items, such as bedding, towels and clothes. Whilst ottoman beds feature a mechanism that lifts up the bed base to reveal storage space underneath the bed within the frame.
Both types of bed have configurable options too. Divan beds often come with an option to choose the number of drawers available. Whilst ottoman beds are available as either an end lift or side lift option, so you can choose which best suits your bedroom layout.
We have a wide range of sizes to choose from when it comes to storage beds. Starting at single beds that are perfect for solo sleepers and children’s bedrooms to super king size beds that are perfect for couples who want the extra space.

Technically, you can store anything in your storage bed, if you can fit it in, but how much storage space you have, comes down to the type of storage bed you choose. Divan beds feature up to four drawers (depending on how many you choose) that are ideal for storing smaller items, such as jewellery, books and clothing, but you could certainly fit bedding and towels in them too.
Whilst ottoman beds feature vast storage space that takes up the footprint of the bed, so there’s more room to store your bulkier items, such as boxed items, suitcases and even your ironing board!
All standard UK mattress sizes will fit the equivalent bed size on a storage bed, the same as with a ‘regular’ bed frame. So your current mattress should fit on your new bed, as long as you’re buying the same size. If you are on the lookout for a new mattress too, we have a selection of comfy and supportive pocket spring mattresses to choose from.
Maintaining your storage bed is simple. Just like any other piece of furniture, a quick vacuum and occasional wipe-down will keep it looking fresh. For the fabric, we recommend using a gentle cleaner to keep it in top shape. And don’t forget, your bed is built to be durable, so it’ll handle daily use with ease.
We provide a three year warranty for all our storage beds, headboards and mattresses.
