About Magna Beds
Established in 2009, we have been handcrafting exceptional quality beds and bed frames for over 10 years from our factory in the heart of West Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on offering unique, design-inspired bed frames and exquisite headboards that perfectly frame our divan and ottoman bed frame collection. Taking inspiration from some of the world’s most important art movements, including Art Deco and Baroque styles, our team love combining their passion for the classics with modern design movements to produce truly classical, timeless bed frames that you will only find at Magna Beds.
From our own factory we carefully manufacture everything, handcrafting each to our stringent quality standards. We work hard to maintain traditional manufacturing methods, combined with modern technology and processes to keep our prices affordable. All our bed frames, mattresses and headboards are made to order and delivered fresh from our factory, being fully inspected for quality through our rigorous series of quality checks and assurances, before being shipped out to customers.
We also offer free fabric samples, free UK delivery, a 3 year warranty, and personal service across our entire range, to make your shopping experience as luxurious as our beds.
A bed frame is the part of a bed that supports and positions the mattress and base. Bed frames raise the mattress off the ground, support weight load, and provide a chic look and style.
When selecting a bed frame, consider aspects like available space, budget, storage needs and preferred style. It's essential to measure the space accurately and choose a frame that fits your requirements.
To assemble your bed frame, start by attaching the legs to the headboard. Align the holes in the struts with those in the headboard and secure them with the provided screws. Next, locate the pre-drilled holes in the bed base by finding the large bolt holes hidden beneath the fabric; pierce the fabric to access them.
Screw bolts into these holes on the bed base, leaving about 4 cm of thread visible, and repeat for the second bolt. Then, slide the headboard onto the bolt screws using the pronged ends of the struts and tighten the bolts to secure them between the bed base and the bolts. Finally, adjust the headboard to your preferred height, ensuring that the bottom of the headboard sits at the top of the mattress.
Our handcrafted upholstered bed frames are available in the four most common mattress sizes. We offer Single bed frames which measure 90cm x 190cm and are a perfect fit for standard single mattresses, whilst our Double bed option measures 135cm x 190cm to match UK double mattresses. For even more room to stretch out, we have King frames that measure 150cm x 200cm and Super King options that measure a spacious 180cm x 200cm. Both are made to fit larger mattress sizes.
Rest assured that whichever frame and size you select, it will be lovingly built and hand-upholstered by our team using only the most premium fabrics and materials.
We have more than 60 elegant colours, and a range of fabric options to choose from, including velvets, linens, chenilles and more so you can choose the perfect fabric and shade to match your bedroom decor.
To clean a fabric bed frame, start by removing any bedding and pillows, then vacuum the bed frame to remove dust, dirt, and debris. For stains, mix a mild detergent with water and gently scrub the affected areas using a soft brush or cloth, but be cautious not to oversaturate the fabric.
To deodorize, sprinkle baking soda over the bed frame, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it off. For tougher stains, consider using a fabric cleaner specifically designed for upholstery. Always check the manufacturer's cleaning instructions before applying any products. Lastly, allow the bed frame to air dry completely before making the bed again. Regular maintenance will help keep your fabric bed frame looking fresh and clean.
