When it comes to storage beds and bases, there are two available on the market, traditional divan beds/bases and ottoman divan beds/bases. The main difference between the two, is the way the storage space is accessed.
Traditional divan bed bases feature drawers within the base for your belongings, whilst ottoman divan bed bases take advantage of the entire footprint of the bed when it comes to their storage space. This is then accessed by lifting the gas piston assisted mattress platform. There are two options available to suit different bedroom layouts, end opening bases which open from the end of the bed and side lift options which lift up from the side of the bed instead.
